Your Starlink Mini needs a booster. Here's why.
The Mini takes 12–48V, so a 12V system looks like it should be fine. It isn't — not reliably. Battery sag under load and voltage drop over the long 15m cable pull your supply under the minimum, and the dish briefly draws around 60W on startup while it finds satellites. Dip below what it needs and you get dropouts, an unstable connection, or it won't power on at all. Usually right when you've parked up for the night.
