Do I still need magnets if I'm bolting it on?
The magnetic feet sit inside the rack feet and help stabilise the mount. You get both — magnets for quick placement, and bolts for permanent hold on non-magnetic surfaces.
What if my roof is steel?
If your roof is steel, you don't need the rack feet — the magnets grip directly. Grab the standalone Magnetic Roof Mount instead and save.
Does it come with the booster?
No — this kit is mount and mounting hardware only. Add a 12V/24V Booster separately to run your Starlink Mini off your battery without an inverter.
Will it hold at highway speed?
