Which Starlink Mini mount you need comes down to one question: will a magnet stick to your roof?

Steel roof → Magnetic mount
A magnet sticks, so you've got the easiest setup. A magnetic mount attaches in seconds, holds at highway speed, and lifts straight off when you pack up.

Fibreglass or aluminium roof → Magnetic mount + steel discs
No magnet hold. This is the most common caravan roof in Australia, and where most people get stuck.
