Will this run my Starlink Mini on its own?

No — and this is the important one. This is a passive adapter cable. It passes 12V straight through and does not raise voltage.

The Starlink Mini needs a steady 30V to run reliably. To power one you need the VANKOR Booster as well. This cable is how you run that booster from your cigarette socket instead of hardwiring it to the battery.

What can I actually run off it?

Anything with a 50A Anderson plug — a booster, camp lights, a portable fridge, a battery charger.

The limit isn't the cable, it's your vehicle's socket. Most cigarette sockets are fused at 10–15A, which is roughly 120–180W at 12V. That's plenty for a booster or lights. An air compressor or a large fridge on startup can exceed it and pop the fuse — check your fuse rating first.

Will it fit my Anderson plug?

It's a standard 50A Anderson SB50 in grey housing — the common one on caravans and 4WDs.

Anderson housings are colour-keyed and only mate with the same colour. If your existing plug is red, blue or black, it won't connect to this one.

Can I leave it plugged in while I drive?

Yes, but stow it properly. Don't leave the cable hanging off the socket with a connector swinging on the end — that puts load on the plug and the socket over corrugations. Route it or unplug it.
