Product Details

Shut your Starlink down overnight without unplugging a thing.

The Vankor Remote Power Switch drops straight into your Anderson SB50 setup — pre-wired both ends, fuse already fitted. No cutting, no crimping. Hit the fob from up to 100 metres and the power's off. Hit it again, it's back on.

Not just Starlink — it'll switch any 12–72V device up to 30 amps: fridge, camp lights, water pump, inverter, the whole DC circuit. Control it three ways: two keyring fobs plus a magnetic panel switch that snaps onto the included steel disc, so you can stick it on any wall and lift it off any time.

Near-zero standby draw, so it won't flatten your battery sitting there. IP55 rated — built for the track.

Materials & Construction

  • Housing: tough PC (polycarbonate), IP55 sealed against dust, rain and track spray
  • Wiring: heavy 6mm² cable, pre-terminated with Anderson SB50 plugs on both ends
  • Protection: inline fuse fitted on the supply side
  • Relay: rated to 30A continuous, 12–72V DC
  • Panel switch: magnetic body + steel mounting disc with 3M adhesive backing
  • Operating range: −20°C to 60°C

What's Included

  • 1 × Vankor receiver/switch unit — pre-wired, Anderson SB50 both ends, inline fuse
  • 2 × keyring remote fobs (CR2016 batteries fitted)
  • 1 × magnetic panel switch — with steel mounting disc +  adhesive

Installation & Maintenance

  1. Unplug your Anderson SB50 lead and plug this in line — between your power source and your gear.
  2. That's the wiring done. No cutting, no crimping.
  3. Pair the keyring fobs (or the panel switch) as per the quick-start card.
  4. Panel switch: stick the steel disc to a clean, dry wall or cabinet with the 3M tape, then snap the switch on

Maintenance

  • Keep the Anderson contacts clean and dry.
  • Remote batteries are CR2016 (2 per fob) — swap them if range drops off.
  • Wipe the housing down as needed; it's IP55, so a damp cloth is fine.

Shipping & Returns

  • Ships fast from our Victoria warehouse, Australia-wide.
  • Shipping calculated at checkout.
  • 30-day money-back guarantee.
  • 12-month warranty.

Not just for Starlink Everyone sells these as a "Starlink switch." It's more than that. Any 12V to 72V gear in your rig — fridge, lights, water pump, inverter, the whole DC circuit — off and on from one remote. Up to 30 amps.

Plug and play, no crimping Most remote switches turn up as a bare relay you've got to wire yourself — crimp your own Anderson plugs, add your own fuse. Not this one. It arrives pre-wired with Anderson SB50 plugs on both ends and an inline fuse already fitted. Unplug your lead, plug this in line, done.

How it works (3 steps)

  1. Plug it in line with your Anderson SB50 lead
  2. Pair the two keyring fobs (or the panel switch)
  3. Kill the power from up to 100m — no crawling into the boot

Won't flatten your battery Standby draw is near zero (≤0.01µA). Leave it wired in all season — it won't pull your battery down sitting there.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Does it only work with Starlink?

No — it switches any 12–72V device up to 30A. Starlink, fridges, lights, pumps, inverters, the whole DC circuit. Note: it's a switch, not a voltage converter.

Where can I mount the panel switch?

Anywhere — it's magnetic. Stick the included steel disc to a wall or cabinet with the 3M tape and the switch snaps on. Lift it off and move it any time.

Will it fit my Anderson setup?

Yes — wired with SB50 plugs both ends, plugs straight in line. No cutting or crimping.

How far does the remote reach?

Up to 100m in the open. Less through walls or metal.

Will it drain my battery?

No — standby draw is near zero (≤0.01µA).

Can I run a winch off it?

No. It's rated to 30A — suited to Starlink, fridges, lights and pumps, not high-draw gear.

Is it waterproof?

IP55 — handles dust, rain and washdowns. Don't submerge it.
